Tall and athletic actress Catherine Bell was born in London, England, but she moved into Los Angeles with her mother as in the midst of growing up. She dropped out of college in order to pursue her career as a model in Japan despite her intention to major in premed at school. After returning back to L.A. after doing a few commercials to make appearances as a guest on TV shows and minor film work. She was Isabella Rosellini's nude body double for the film Death Becomes Her in 1992. This led her to meet her future partner (Adam Deason) on the film's set. Following a brief appearance on the NBC JAG, a show on NBC JAG She wrote an open letter to JAG's producers, expressing interest in JAG. JAG moved in 1996 to CBS which she joined in 1996.
