Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and singer. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. Music is her first love, she claims; it's something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant formal training. When she was 13, she started creating songs. The first time she recorded an album at 14 years old. From then on she's never looked back. Orrantia was born in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. She has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and her whole life was in America. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she tries to keep the culture alive. One such song is "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was picked to perform for the X Factor's inaugural season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" from the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube video submission. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions in "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
