Angela Sargsyan was born on December 16, 1982, in Yerevan Armenia. Angela developed into extremely active and a sporty youngster. She first began swimming and figure skating around when she was three years old. She continued to figure skate until she was thirteen. Following figure skating, Angela started the art of karate. She became an easy study. In 1996 she was awarded another medal at the Armenian Youth Full Contact Karate Championships which were held in Yerevan Armenia. Angela has not lost her enthusiasm for sport. She continues to lead an active, healthy lifestyle which includes regular exercise and healthy eating. She is a paraglider as well as a swimmer. Angela has earned her Scuba Dive Master Certification in March 2015. She loves extreme sports including sharp shooting. Angela can use a wide range of guns, including assault rifles. Angela speaks fluently of Armenian, Russian and English. Angela has a stellar academic track record, earning her bachelor's degree in Radiophysics and Electronics in 2003 from Yerevan State University in 2003.
