Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. Her first music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the movie. While an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
