Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office debut worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
